Job Summary
Work with a team of engineers and technicians; to sustain wafer fabrication, package & test processes for LED and other related chip products. Individual will operate semiconductor fabrication equipment for processing steps related to Metalization, PECVD, and RIE.
Duties & Responsibilities
Operate Metal Evaporation systems and Plasma Processing systems
Process wafers according to detailed wafer traveler documentation
Work closely with a team of Process Sustaining Engineers
Perform data collection
Perform characterization of manufactured products
Summarize and communicate findings accurately to engineering team and management
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma
At least six months of manufacturing experience, preferably in III-V device processing.
Candidate must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder)
Preferred Qualifications
AS degree in a technical field
2
years of experience in a high-volume III-V device manufacturing environment is preferred
Candidate must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder)
Education
AS degree in a technical field, Engineering or Science
Physical requirements/Work Environment
This position primarily works in a Class 100 cleanroom environment. The employee must be able to suit up and wear cleanroom attire for extended periods. It requires frequent standing and walking. Daily use of a computer and other computing and digital devices is required. Data entry will be a necessary part of the job. May stand for extended periods when operating equipment or walking in the facilities.
The physical demands of the position described herein are essential functions of the job and employees must be able to successfully perform these tasks for extended periods.
