Job Purpose
Lead team members in area in daily activities. Communicate issues with operations supervisor. Assigns tasks to team members and maintains seamless operations in the warehouse.
Key Accountabilities
Promotes safe work practices
Follows and ensures quality standards are adhered to.
Assigns work to team members.
Post performance numbers for area.
Communicate issues with supervisor.
Organizes loading and unloading of products.
Ensures the proper labeling, tagging, and packing of goods and materials in assigned area.
Complies with legal procedures for handling and receiving goods.
Key Working Relationships
Distributes work assignments to hourly staff.
Interacts with hourly staff and others as needed.
Takes direction from supervisor daily as needed.
Education & Experience Required
High School diploma or GED
Some college
1-2
yrs warehouse experience
Multimodal Hazmat Shipper Certification (49 CFR, IATA, IMDG)
Specialist Knowledge & Skills
Basic computer skills.
Outlook, Excel, PKMS.
Interpersonal & Communication Skills.
Able to communicate work related tasks to a diverse group of individuals.
Schedule: Full-time
Shift: Day
Travel: No
