Job Description
This position serves as the key leader responsible for pharmacy services and medication management in a rural hospital. This is a unique position requiring expertise and initiative in the clinical care of patients (within the scope of medication management), the efficient distributive operation, and the safety and quality of care provided. This position must take care of the day to day needs and safety of inpatients and outpatients while taking responsibility for the strategic direction of the facility, important interdisciplinary relationships, and the quality of all medication therapy provided. This position is responsible for all human resource responsibilities of the department and working closely with HR leadership of facility.
The Pharmacy Director role has oversight for the Pharmacy operations at Cassia Regional Medical Center while also working within the Urban North and Corporate Divisions for Pharmacy with Intermountain Healthcare. With the oversight, potential for call/callbacks to assist for after hours.
Minimum Requirements
Current state Pharmacist licensure.
Pharm D or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited institution (degree will be verified).
Physical Requirements
Hearing/listening, carrying, lifting, pulling/pushing, walking, manual dexterity, seeing.
Preferred Qualifications
Leadership experience.
Hospital inpatient Pharmacy experience.
Pharmacy residency, other post-graduate training, and/or board certification.
Master's degree in related field (MBA, MPH, MS in pharmacy).

ACLS, PALS (as appropriate).
