The Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) International Security and Analysis Division is seeking a Windows Systems Engineer. This position requires a highly motivated and multifaceted individual who thrives on using a wide variety of skills to be part of a proactive, responsive and Secure Information Technology group supporting the Global Security Directorate (GSD) staff within the Oak Ridge Complex.

Major Duties/Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities are to provide system engineering services in a primarily Microsoft Windows based geographically dispersed environment.
System Engineering services includes, but are not exclusive to:
Design, install, configure, and maintain Windows Server systems and applications
Provide technical consulting in the selection and purchase of hardware and software systems.
Application software and operating system selection, installation, maintenance and upgrades.
Administer system backups and restoration.
Develop and document team processes.
Additionally, interfacing with Other Government Agencies (OGA's), and other external customers.

Qualifications Required
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related technical subjects or equivalent combination of education and experience.
A minimum of 3 years of direct hands-on Microsoft System Administration experience is required.
Implementation of Cyber Security requirements is required.
To be considered, candidates must hold an active DOE L or Q clearance, or Top Secret (TS) clearance. In addition, candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE Q Clearance and obtain a Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance based on Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 704 requirements. Additionally, all employees of the Division are required to successfully complete an evaluation, including a Counterintelligence scope polygraph examination.
This position is a Workplace Substance Abuse program (WSAP) testing designed position which requires passing a pre-placement drug test and participation in an ongoing random drug testing program in which employees are subject to being randomly selected for testing. The occupant of this position will also be subject to an ongoing requirement to report to ORNL any drug-related arrest or conviction or receipt of a positive drug test result.

Qualifications Desired:
BS and 5-10 years of direct hands-on Microsoft System Administration experience preferred.
In depth knowledge of Windows Server 2008/2012, Active Directory, Exchange 2010/2013, NetApp Filers, EMC VNX, Microsoft Lync 2010/2013, VMWare VSphere/Horizon View, System Center Suite, SQL Server Administration, and COOP & DR Methodologies. Microsoft, NetApp, EMC, and VMware certifications are highly desirable.
Familiarity with DOE, DOD, DCID, ICD, and FISMA regulatory requirements is
highly desirable.



Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
