TUHP Contracts Manager

Sikorsky is seeking a Contracts Manager to join the Turkish Utility Helicopter Program (TUHP) in Stratford, Connecticut. The selected candidate will work with the TUHP contract management team on the contracts that Sikorsky has entered into with the Turkish Undersecretariat for Defense Industries, Turkish Aerospace Industries Inc., Aselsan and other Turkish industry partners for the purpose of TUHP. The candidate will work directly with Contracts & Counsel, Program Management, Engineering, Operations, International Trade Compliance (ITC), Program Planning & Control, Finance and other U.S. and Turkish-based professionals to manage the TUHP contracts. The position may require travel to Ankara, Turkey.
The selected candidate will provide contract support for TUHP team and will be responsible to identify and advice on contract requirements and ensure compliance and adequate risk mitigation measures are in place. The candidate will also be responsible for compiling and maintaining all required contractual records and documents in accordance with contract requirements and Sikorsky/UTC policies and procedures.
Duties include:
1) Advise team on the contract language, requirements, risks, and opportunities associated with the TUHP contracts;
2) Analyzing, applying and advising on contract requirements;
3) Assist in assuring contract compliance in all TUHP related contracts;
4) Develop negotiation plans when required for contract modifications;
5) Draft, review and negotiate contract amendments related to the TUHP;
6) Support program management reviews and similar meetings in the U.S. and Turkey as required for all TUHP related contracts;
7) Support Sikorsky attorneys in Turkish subcontract negotiations and other TUHP related negotiations;
8) Assist U.S. and Turkey-based ITC staff in contract reviews as necessary;
9) Provide contract management support for ad hoc projects as required by the TUHP Senior Attorney;
10) Assist Sikorsky and Turkish attorneys in contract training; and
11) Support international sales contract efforts related to the Turkish assembled S-70i.
Business Unit: SikorskyEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
