Summary:
The Senior Financial & Pricing Analyst will play a key part in the financial management of the company. The analyst will also be the POC for all pricing proposal efforts.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
Review solicitations/RFP/RFQ and prepare pricing proposals in adherence to the requirements of the solicitation.
Analyze the competition and make recommendations to management with regards to the optimal pricing strategy that will best support a win.
Prepare Timely, accurate and compliant cost and Business proposals
Prepare and analyze RFP requirements including terms and conditions
Participate in the proposal pricing process to include: Development of pricing strategies, compile cost data; prepare cost volumes
Provide direction to subcontractors involved in proposal preparation
Participate in pricing review with senior management and ensure that pricing guidelines have been met and/or anomalies can be explained
Will develop pricing multipliers for on/off customer site
Maintain Cash Forecast Template on monthly basis
Updates budget to actual expenditures for all organizations
Will implement and maintain project controls and earned value management techniques and processes
Assists in Month End close and revenue recognition duties as needed
Other Ad Hoc projects as assigned by upper management
Preferred
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Knowledge of FAR, DFAR, CAS, GAAP, JTR
Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills required to present pricing structure and economics to senior management and interact well with team members
Knowledge of all contract types including FFP, FFP LOE, T&M;, CPFF
Must have a firm understanding of Cost Multipliers and their role in the pricing process
Ability to organize, prioritize while working under tight deadlines
Successful candidate will be willing to learn new skills and methodologies as well as develop new methodologies based on past experience
Knowledge of business, budget, and financial processes and practices
Planning/organizational skills
Research and analytical skills
Strong proficiency in use of personal computer software, and databases
Ability to analyze and interpret reports, documents and statistical data
Ability to function independently, with appropriate initiative, creativity, and attention to detail
Ability to maintain confidentiality
