We are currently seeking a talented individual to become a Financial Analyst. An individual could be successful if they possess the following.
Your daily responsibilities include:
Knowledge of and enforcement of all gaming laws and regulations which apply to the functions and duties of the Finance Department
Prepare and analyze financial statement comparisons and year to date monthly comparisons on revenue, inventory and cost of sales, payroll, and operating expenses.
Make operating efficiency recommendations to ensure that all outlets are operating as profitable as possible.
Provides Finance with accurately detailed reports that are used in the computation of the financial statements.
Implement and administer the Food and Beverage Inventory Accounting System (Stratton-Warren).
Informs Finance and Food and Beverage executives of any discrepancies or irregular trends.
Any and all duties as assigned by your Supervisor or a member of management.
To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set:
Must be 21 years of age or older. Strong analytical and communication skills required. Knowledge of accounting principles.
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively to groups of customers or cast members.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Accounting software; Database software and Inventory software.
Must be able to obtain a gaming license.
Knowledge of Excel, 10-Key, Inventory Software.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
