Perform organizational level maintenance for all tactical vehicles and equipment. Perform intermediate and direct support level maintenance for commercial vehicles.
Provide general and direct support for ATVs, small engines, light towers, generators and trailers. Use diagnostic equipment and technical manuals for identifying maintenance faults and repairs. Perform maintenance at maintenance shop and in the field. Operate recovery vehicles such as car hauler and wreckers. Operate forklifts and tractors. Work in various weather conditions. Work weekends and shift work. Follow all environmental and safety rules.
Required
Experience: Five years experience as a general mechanic. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals. Ability to follow written and verbal directions.
Must be able to travel unaccompanied to continental US and foreign locations. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Must possess a valid La Class D chauffeur's license. Will be subject to random drug testing.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
