JOB DUTIES: Recruit regional Specialists/Managers across the US. Identify key Cross Users and Marketing Cross Slot Technology. Present seminars on Cross Slot No-Tillage Systems. Identify and appoint agents for Cross Slot across the US. Support existing Product Specialists across the US. Attend expos and promotional events aimed at informing the public about Cross Slot low-disturbance no-tillage technologies. Prepare relevant documentation and bring on new investors. Negotiate an exclusive license for Cross Slot products with the parent company in New Zealand. Expand Baker No-Tillage (USA) Ltd.s role as the exclusive licensee for Cross Slot products in the US. Identify and appoint agents for Cross Slot across the US. Recruit regional Specialist Marketing Manager at a national level. Identify key users and marketers of Cross Slot No-Tillage Systems.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: BS (or foreign equivalent) in Marketing, Management, Economics, or a related field and 3 years in job offered or in a related occupation.
In the alternative, employer will accept, 5 years in job offered or in a related occupation, without a degree.
Special Requirements:
Expert knowledge and experience in the following areas:
1. No-tillage
2. Sustainable food production
3. Farm management as it relates to annual cropping
4. Financing of items mentioned in 1-3
5. Investment banking
6. Negotiation with potential licensees
7. Specialist scientific principles underpinning technical points of difference between the companys particular brand of no-tillage equipment with competing brands
Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training or experience.
Employer will accept a 3-year foreign degree.
Occasional unanticipated travel to various locations in US as needed.
