EMPLOYMENT SPECIALIST - FT Bilingual Employment Specialist needed. Develops and implements strategies for job placement and retention for individuals with disabilities and other barriers to independence who represent the Hispanic/Latino community and whose primary language is Spanish as well as other individuals typically served by Goodwill. Provides job readiness skills, assistance with job search, on-the-job training and other post-employment supports, career development and follow-up services. Promotes services to individuals, businesses and funding sources with a focus on supporting the employment and self-sufficiency needs of individuals in the Hispanic/ Latino community. Bachelor's degree in a human services or related field. Two years experience in job placement, business or knowledge or experience working with people with disabilities or other barriers to employment; or equivalent education and experience. Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) required. Familiarity with the cultural diversity within the Hispanic/Latino community in Berks and/ or Lancaster counties and their varied needs preferred. Ability to market services to the local business community to accomplish program goals desirable. Current driver's license & reliable vehicle. (Job located 3001 St Lawrence Ave., Reading, PA).
