Our customer in Windsor Locks, CT has the need for an IT Project Manager. This individual will be responsible for aiding in the management and resolution of IT compliance initiatives. The ideal candidate will be a senior level project manager, capable of unifying teams and driving them towards shared deliverables.
Roles and responsibilities would include:
Daily project management for key assignments
Gather requirements, create & clearly articulate detailed project plans
Manage project plans and deliverables
Hold internal staff and third party vendors accountable for deliverables
Track and manage metrics to articulate project status & success
Provide status updates, handle inquires & issues, and drive project deliverables
Communicate current project status to key stakeholders
Ensure deadlines are met on schedule and on budget
Interface with multiple teams & outside vendors
The right candidate will be/possess:
Senior level project management experience
The ability to build a project plan, direct the activities of the project, and meet deliverable deadlines
High energy, task/goal oriented individual with strong attention to detail
Proactive, accountable & self-sufficient
Excellent communication and organization skills
Strong work ethic; leadership; attention to detail; initiative
