Serves as business analyst in IT Services University Systems and acts as a liaison between business units and our department to open and maintain lines of communication to monitor and improve business relationships with our campus customers. Major responsibilities to include: meets with customers to gather information regarding potential projects; participates in and facilitates business process modeling sessions and investigative efforts to complete a business case analysis document; reviews requirements, specifications, test, support, training plans to ensure they are in line with the business objectives on projects; consults with clients and departmental technical staff to draft and review documents for the project team, and participates on the project team as primary contact with the customer during the analysis phase; manages and participates in root cause analysis in order to recommend system or project enhancements to improve productivity for both the business units and information technology efforts; acts as an incident manager for facilitating the resolution of service outages and issues relating to campus customer systems; convenes and facilitates internal and external meetings including standing meetings, issue identification and resolution meetings or status meetings; serves as a project manager for various projects assigned by the department.
Minimum Requirements;
Knowledge equivalent to that which normally would be acquired by completing a bachelors degree in business administration, finance, computer science, information systems, or related field; more than five years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in business analysis, project management and/or program development and implementation, application development, ERP implementation or operations experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Strong knowledge and experience with the higher education student systems landscape; demonstrated strong analytical, reasoning, and problem solving skills; ability to collect, organize, and analyze data using tools such as data modeling and data flow diagrams; research skills to gather and analyze the necessary information to make recommendations; expertise in systems with the ability to configure systems and maximize systems capabilities, while limiting customizations; proficiency developing efficient and effective solutions to business or IT problems; proficient oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills; ability to present and discuss functional and technical information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others, and gains understanding; ability to lead system users in developing requirements, testing plans, and upgrade projects; ability to work collaboratively in a team environment; ability to work under pressure and consistently meet deadlines; ability to work with staff at all levels of the university; competency in developing and documenting processes and procedures; ability to translate high level visions into detailed level information or vice versa.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
