Manufacturing Engineer swiss lathes, cnc programming, process development

We are searching for highly technical candidates with strong swiss lathe processing, programming and problem solving skills. Our client will consider manufacturing engineering candidates or candidates who came up the ranks with CNC programming and processing experience on swiss lathes. This company will provide some training. Knowledge of swiss lathe CNC programming is a must. The ideal manufacturing engineering candidate will have experience selecting equipment, collets, guide bushings and cutting tools. Some special cutting tool design is a plus. The Manufacturing Engineer will develop processes, CNC programs, calculate cycle times, document routers, work instructions and set up sheets. Knowledge of CAM software to create CNC code and CAD software to design tooling is a huge plus. Our client uses Esprit CAM software to generate code. They will provide training on the use of Esprit. Past experience training others on the process and or set up methods is a plus. The ideal candidate will have strong problem solving skills and the ability to support the shop floor. Experience diagnosing CNC program, cutting tool, set up and machine tool issues is needed. The company has a variety of CNC machine tools and swiss CNC lathes. They have Citizen, Tsugami and Hanwha swiss CNC lathes.
MUST HAVE: a minimum of 2 years of experience processing and programming swiss CNC lathes. We will consider experience Manufacturing Engineers or candidates who came up the ranks as a machinist developing CNC programming skills. Our client will provide some training to candidates who dont meet all the qualifications. Knowledge of CAD/CAM software is strongly preferred. Knowledge of one of the following machine tools is required: Citizen, Star, Tsugami, Nomura, Tornos Deco, Hanwha or other brands of swiss lathes.
