POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for assisting with electrical installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance within the commercial, industrial, and residential settings.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Travels to customer premises to assist in the installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical systems
Installs electrical raceways and wire, lighting, controls, machinery, and electrical distribution equipment under the supervision of an experienced Journeymen Electrician
Installs and bends conduit using manual, mechanical, and hydraulic benders
Performs wire and cable pulls
Performs material handling duties on the jobsite
Maintains compliance with company policies
Maintains compliance with all OSHA, Company, and customer-specific safety requirements
Cleans and maintains tools, test equipment, and jobsite
Attends company meetings as required by supervisor
Performs other related duties as required and assigned

TRAINING REQUIREMENTS
Eligible Electric University learning opportunities for each classification are identified as either Essential or Elective. Essential courses are those that contain information and education that are essential for success in the role. Elective courses are those that may accelerate development in a particular area. Should new essential courses be added to a classification, employees within the classification are notified and will have 12 months to complete the course(s).
Essential Safety Training/Refreshers: Completion of First Aid/CPR within 12 months of hire (must keep certification current); Completion of OSHA 10-Hour within 12 months of hire (must complete an update course every four years); Scissors & Boom Lift

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work is performed primarily in indoor and outdoor settings with regular exposure to cold, heat, direct sunlight, dirt, hazardous electrical/specialty systems equipment and wiring, and underground and elevated heights. Duties also include, stooping, stretching, digging, trenching, excavating, and moving and installing heavy electrical and specialty systems equipment.
