JOB PURPOSE AND REPORTING STRUCTURE:
Reporting to the Manager, Quality Assurance, perform a wide variety of tasks to assure day-to-day compliance with quality production, materials and processes required under ISO/TS-16949:2002 and ISO 9001:2002 procedures.
MRA Generic Description: Quality Control Technician.
Perform a variety of duties to determine that materials, products and/or processes are in accordance with specifications and requirements. Make visual, dimensional, measuring and monitoring of materials, processes, or assemblies. May use a variety of precision measuring instruments and test equipment. Refer deviations from standards to appropriate personnel. May maintain graphs and records pertinent to the function. Perform standard first article, in-process, final verification tests, and documentation prior to product release for shipment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Include the following. Other duties may be assigned permanently or from time to time.
Must be able to work in a fast paced production environment
Conduct Workstation audits, dock audits and product audits.
Audit, adjust and calibrate gages. Record results.
Perform and or assist with capability studies as defined in procedures.
Review laboratory and other reports certifying materials. Certify material accordingly.
Participate in Advance Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Product Part Approval Process (PPAP) activities. Assist in developing Control Plans, FMEA's, etc.
Evaluate and designate disposition of conforming and non-conforming material.
Assist in the communication of and teach acceptance of QA levels, standards and procedures.
Conduct visual and dimensional inspection of a variety of parts and materials.
Must read and be able to interpret blueprints.
Must become proficient in the use of an optical comparator and vision system measuring machine.
Perform miscellaneous related activities as required from time to time by the Manager of Quality Assurance and the V.P. of Plant Operations.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Must be PC literate in MS Excel, Word and Manufacturing software.
Must have extensive experience in blueprint reading and GDT
Must be well versed in the use of hand held precision gages and gage calibration
Five years Inspection, manufacturing or fabrication quality experience desired, or one-year, on-the-job training period is expected to reach proficiency.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
