The Big Picture - Top Skills You Should Possess:
- With guidance from supervision, primary responsibility is to assist technical personnel in general laboratory operations and routine laboratory or information handling tasks in support of scientific research. Perform tasks according to accepted methods and training prescribed by the work group.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Performs assignments involving the identification, assessment and development of new scientific concepts and/or technologies to provide solutions to identified problems.
- Incumbents are fully qualified scientific, technical, or information personnel capable of managing scientific, technical, or information projects, coordinating with other professionals and support personnel to accomplish objectives.
- Defines approach to scientific, technical, or information problems, develops hypotheses.
- May also have team leader responsibilities.
What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- BS in Biochemistry/Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, or related field
- Minimum of FIVE (5) years of pharma/biotech industrial experience
- Skilled in General Molecular Biology Southern Blots and PCR.
- Ability to deliver written reports based on a template.
