CACI National Cyber Solutions, is currently looking for a talented and highly motivated Development Operations (aka DevOps) Systems Engineer to integrate, deploy, and maintain Linux based custom software solutions in the IC-ITE compliant cloud infrastructure for the Department of Defense. The qualified candidate will play an integral role in fully automating software releases, scaling systems for performance, support of Tier 2 and 3 activities, and supporting other development operations including, but not limited to development environment O&M, configuration management, performance tuning, and system design. Successful candidate will be responsible for:

Responsibilities:
Installation and integration of commercial, government, and open source software as well as custom code used in the facilitation of integration activities.
Providing tier two and three support to the operations team for the production environment.
Design and build system design artifacts. Developing, documenting and maintaining installation and configuration procedures.
Contributing to and maintaining system standards and documentation such as systems administrator guides
Researching and recommending innovative, and where possible, automated approaches for system administration tasks.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
At least 5 years of Linux system administration / systems integration experience.
Demonstrated working experience with Linux (RedHat, CentOS) administration
Experience building Puppet scripts
Experience packaging software with RPM.
Experience maintaining large scale Linux implementations.
Experience maintaining open source packages and/or working with the open source community.
Linux shell scripting
Proficiency in using the typical Linux toolbox of open source software and management tools.
Possess strong analytical problem solving skills
Must have desire to learn new skills and work with new technologies
Familiarity with a multitude of operating system tools and utilities for managing, monitoring and troubleshooting Linux systems
Experience with deployment to DCID / ICD accredited facilities
Experience with Linux logging and monitoring including Nagios, Logstash and/or other open source tools and packages
Define and implement automated system installation/configuration procedures
Familiar with the Agile Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Have a strong customer centric focus
Demonstrated ability to self-prioritize, organize, and manage a task workload
Ability to support surge initiatives to ensure delivery of mission functional requirements
Strong ability to accurately estimate stories and technical tasks
Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in a Related Field and 5-7 Years of applicable experience
