JOB SUMMARY
Support the manufacturing process by planning material requirements and purchasing goods to support customer needs. Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) for a specified product line or commodity. Responsible for satisfying customer needs while managing costs and inventory.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Meet or exceed metrics: Lead time reduction Inventory optimization Customer On Time Performance Supplier On Time Performance Cost Management Scheduling Agreement/Vendor Managed Inventory Additions Daily activities: Develop and manage vendor relationships Price negotiation and contract management Purchase order creation and management Documentation and engineering change management Material requirement planning and material master management Inventory management Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, logistics or a related field is required. Three to five years of planning, purchasing, and supply chain experience is required. Previous SAP required.

Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, logistics or a related field is required. Three to five years of planning, purchasing, and supply chain experience is required. Previous SAP required.
PREFERRED SKILLS & ABILITIES
Demonstrated experience in negotiating, planning, and analysis Demonstrated problem-solving experience Global sourcing experience is preferred Prior experience/knowledge of Lean Manufacturing is preferred Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to understand and communicate basic engineered drawings and specifications
