The Oracle Fusion Middleware Architect is responsible for the installation, configuration, upgrading, administration, monitoring, maintenance, and security of Oracle Weblogic & Tuxedo applications within an Oracle Exalogic architecture. More specifically, the role includes the development and design of web and application Servers and providing support using various technologies like J2EE, security, Oracle Fusion Middleware, virtualization, and analytics applications.
100% travel required.
Basic Qualifications
6 years of experience in the installation and administration of clustered high availability Middleware environments & WebLogic Application Server administration and deployments. 3 years of solutions architect experience. Minimum of a Bachelor's degree. 4 years of experience in 3 or more of the below: Experience in installing, upgrading, migrating, patching, configuring, and cloning of Oracle applications and Middleware products Extensive working experience on UNIX and Linux platforms, and Shell Scripting Experience in developing automated build & deployment scripts for SOA and J2EE components Experience in Oracle WebLogic server security configurations including SSL certificate installation and configuration Strong Virtualization experience (deployment, allocation) in both Exalogic and Oracle Virtual Machine (OVM) Understands Grid and in-memory computing and the ability to provide performance evaluations and tuning Experience with Backup and Recovery Installation and configuration of WebLogic 10.x/11.x/12.x Servers on UNIX, Linux, Windows and Solaris environments. Horizontal and Vertical Clustering. Setup Node Managers and Admin Servers Experience in EMOC and OEM proficiencies
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting Oracle Exalogic systems Experience supporting Oracle Enterprise Linux (OEL) Experience with Oracle ERP applications such as EBS, PeopleSoft, JDE, Siebel, Hyperion, Fusion Middleware, ATG, Demantra, Primavera, etc. Experience with Oracle ZFS Appliance Experience with OEM 12c and EMOC 12c and SOA Management Pack for monitoring Professional Qualifications Strong interpersonal and communication (both verbal and written) skills Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and debugging skillsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
