Maintenance Technician - Millwright

Summary:
The Maintenance Technicians (Millwright) are responsible for maintaining the mechanical equipment utilized at the facility to produce nitrogen based fertilizer products.
The incumbent will work a traditional 40 hour work week, Monday through Friday with some overtime and call outs. The company will offer state of the art training to the level of Maintenance Technician V through practical on the job training and offsite technical seminars.
##### Job Responsibilites:
1. Perform diagnostic and preventive maintenance tasks on bearings, pumps, gearboxes, compressors, and turbines.
2. Demonstrate competency in diagnostic and trouble shooting skills.
3. Perform shaft alignment using dial indicators.
4. Complete assigned work in a safe and proficient manner.
5. Inspect, identify, change out, and repair pieces of equipment such as pumps, motors, gearboxes, compressors, and turbines.
6. Perform visual inspections, diagnose equipment problems, and take necessary steps to perform repairs.
7. Read and understand repair manuals, order replacement parts, and apply manufacturer's equipment specifications.
8. Perform safe rigging and lifting tasks.
9. Work involves climbing ladders, stairs and use of safety harnesses. Additionally, working out of man lifts or man baskets is required.
