Our Sylvan Learning Centers are looking for enthusiastic, energetic teachers skilled at teaching K-12 grade level, reading, writing, and elementary level math. Additional position open for upper level math and SAT Prep teacher.
As an Instructor reporting to the Director of Education, you will:
Teach students in a 3:1 student-teacher ratio
Use pre-planned lessons and/or assist with homework
Use proven methods developed by educators
Use familiar materials approved by schools
Motivate students of all ages to excel academically

1) English Writing teacher in Kirkland, Monroe, Kent and Maple Valley.
2) Upper level Math teacher in Kirkland, Monroe , Kent and Maple Valley.
3) Also looking for Part time (30
hours) DE ( Director of Education) Positions in Kent and Maple Valley, can be converted to Full time.
Candidates must be able to work 2-4 mornings/afternoons/evenings per week. Sat AM also available during school year. Very Flexible Hours and friendly atmosphere.
Our Locations:
Maple Valley WA, Kent WA, Kirkland WA, Lynnwood WA, Everett WA, Snohomish WA, Monroe WA, Stanwood WA.
Current teaching hours: M-Th 3:00-8:00, Fr 3.00-6.00 ,Sa 9:00-1:00. (Candidates do not need to be available for all teaching hours. 2 hours minimum per shift preferred.)

Multiple teaching positions currently available on various different Location: ( When apply please specify which location you are interested )
1) General Education: K-12 Reading, Writing, and elementary level Math. Teaching certificate required.
2) Upper level math teacher: Ability to teach through pre-calculus at a minimum. Ability to teach our SAT Prep course (math sections) is required. Teacher certificate can be waived if upper level math proficiency demonstratedEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
