Summary:
The Shift Supervisor will oversee the various manufacturing operations for their assigned shift, ensuring customer satisfaction, safety requirements and corporate policies, procedures and operation goals are met. The incumbent will supervise Machine Operators, Floor runners, Material Handlers, Process Technicians and Maintenance personnel. Must be willing to maintain manufacturing records, track and report key performance indicators (OES), and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:
Manage hourly associates assigned to shift
Manage the scheduled production at established efficiency & utilization standards
Complete daily shift audits and react accordingly to create positive results
Manage the material flow, inventory control, ISO quality program, scrap, safety and cleanliness of the facility.
Manage the continuous improvement, costs reductions, human relations and team oriented actions to maintain high morale and a pleasant working environment.
Ensure operators document production and audit the previous shifts prior to data being entered for MAL.
Perform other duties as assigned
Education and Skill Requirements:
2-5 year's supervisor experience in an injection plastic molding manufacturing environment using a l_ean_ approach. (Blow Molding experience would be a plus)
Associate's degree in Business or Engineering (BS degree desired)
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Experience utilizing ERP, MRP, Barcoding and related systems.
Knowledge using Microsoft Excel , Word, and PowerPoint
Background in ISO-14001, ISO-9000 & TS16949 desired
Job function will involve working in a manufacturing type setting that will involve sitting, walking, bending, and squatting
Experience with Kaizen, 5s, SMED, Cellular concepts, and Mistake Proofing desired
