QUALITY CONTROL (FIELD)
To perform quality control for varioushighway roadway construction, general site work, maintenance and protection oftraffic, traffic signal, foundations, pulling of wire & fiber cable,conduit installation, highway lighting, various ITS system installation,utility relocation work, coordination and safety. Able to read contractdocuments and construction plans. Responsible for field construction efforts,construction sequencing, cost, scheduling and performance decisions. Assure that proper document control, quality assurance documentation andconstruction project records are kept. Assure quality and uniformity inthe records of various contracts in the overall program. Theideal candidate for this position will have the following requirements: Minimum 5 years related experience, including roadway (foundations, conduits, traffic signals, ITS systems, lighting, inspection and maintenance and protection of traffic for day and nighttime operations. Valid Driver's licensePreferred Qualifications NICET II Certification SAT Certification ACI Certification Traffic Control Coordinator Program (Rutgers) Electrical design Excellent organizational skills NJDOT ExperienceNJTA ExperiencEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
