Qualifications
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Keyboarding skills at a proficiency level of 50 wpm or more.
3. Computer operations skills.
4. Ability to maintain accurate records relating to the operation of lending library
5. Some library experience preferred
6. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.

Job Goal: Assist in the streamlining of lending library tasks to increase efficiency, including Medianet and other methods of operations.
Performance Responsibilities
1. Computer skills to access Medianet system and the ability to use other MacIntosh/PC software
2. Circulate materials, ability to pull and pack routes.
3. Ability to generate Medianet reports/labels.
4. Ability to handle morning Medianet reports/labels.
5. Ability to work with teachers and other patrons on the phone and in person.
6. Process new materials.
7. Provide promotional material.
8. Update skills through periodic training.
9. Maintain service standards and develop new techniques and procedures related to assigned tasks.
10. Maintain a neat and clean work environment.
11. Perform other duties as may be assigned.
Physical, Mental and Visual Effort
Continuous speaking, hearing, and visual effort. Frequent walking, sitting, standing, and reaching. Occasional climbing, kneeling, and transporting up to 50 lbs. High degree of concentration requiring continuous and often intense mental and visual attention. Numerous irregularities, complicated and complex tasks are involved.
Working Conditions
Work is performed in a school/office setting. Frequently exposed to dust, noise, odors, and other irritants. Stress associated with work pace and pressure. Work may involve irregular hours and days. Some travel is required. Exposed to hazards of the road when driving.
Terms of Employment: Length of work year as established by the administration with Board approval. Salary established by terms of the Master Contract.
Evaluation: Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board policy on Evaluation of Classified Personnel and administrative procedures for same.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
