HUMAN RESOURCES DIRECTOR
tHIS IS A NEW POSITION FOR LIFEWORKS IN LONGVIEW,WA 220 EMPLOYEES
full-time, exempt level position, supervises the Personnel Hiring Coordinator. This position is a member of the leadership team and attends all such meetings regularly.
Maintains human resources policy manual makes suggestions for policies as needed, Trains and advises staff regarding human resource policy and procedures.
Work with agency Directors and Program Coordinators effectively to ensure onboarding and training plans are established for all newly hired employees.
Ensures that Program Coordinators are trained in effective interview and selection techniques as well as performance management and documentation.
Develop and maintain a strong employee professional leadership development program.
Participates in decision making for wage and benefit design and take lead in teaching changes to employees.
Advises the agency-wide wellness program committee.
Assists with the development and implementation of an effective employee recognition program and assists with the Staff appreciation event.
Provides assistance to supervisors and managers in their forecasting, planning, and budgeting activities related to employee positions.
Drafts Board reports for presentation and/or present a specific issue to the Board. Examples: turnover report, Labor and Industry claims reports.
Degree in human resources, business or related field preferred and two years human resources experience related to area of assignment required.
PHR certification a plus.
Additional qualifying experience may, at the discretion of the CEO, substitute for the required education of the assigned position.
