Sr. Business Systems Analyst Summary
On behalf of our client Procom Services is searching for a Sr. Business Systems Analyst to provide complex technical business support to clients that utilize small/ midsize/enterprise level systems. Strong communications skills are required.
Sr. Business Systems Analyst Job Details
- Reviewing, analyzing and prioritizing functional requests from business stakeholders, technology team (IT, Network, Vendor, Customer).
- Communicates with technology work streams to ensure understanding of business processes and requirements of the users. Works with programmers to ensure that the delivered system matches the specified features and functions
- Maps current business processes to new systems and supports the transition to the new solution.
- Determines interface requirements for effective system transition.
- Adhere to existing processes/standards, business technology architecture, risk and production capacity guidelines and escalate issues as required.
- As required, research, design, develop and/or support solutions, processes, applications, systems, and products that maximize efficiency, effectiveness and/or system availability, and minimize or prevent problems and issues.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance revenue, stakeholder experience and/or reduce costs
Comply with the system development life cycle (SDLC) and project management methodology (PMLC) - including development of project documentation of system requirements, estimates of scope and cost, etc.
- Contribute to the development of project plans by participating in the scoping and estimating of proposed projects
- Develops detailed specification documents that include features and functions of the new system.
- Support test team in translating requirements and use cases into test conditions and expected results for product, performance, user acceptance, and operational acceptance testing.
- Documents selected system parameters, file layouts and application design layouts.
- Tracks open issues and resolution of issues.
