Essential Responsibilities & Activities:
Requires in-depth knowledge of Internal
Combustion Engine (ICE) fundamentals
Excellent test cell / base calibration /
engine testing knowledge
Provide technical guidance and advice
Provide technical steering of project
activities
Responsible for customer interface, including
providing support for customer meetings,
preparing technical presentations and
providing support to develop business with new
and existing customers
Skills
Education & Experience Requirements:
BS in mechanical or electrical engineering or
foreign equivalent, plus 8 years related
experience. MS preferred.
Excellent vehicle calibration / drivability /
emission calibration / vehicle testing
knowledge
Test Cell automation / Model Based Calibration
knowledge
Overview of legislative emission / OBD
requirements
Excellent Data analysis skills
Experience with various engine management
systems
Basic knowledge and understanding of
electrical hardware and software systems
Understanding of data analyzing software tools
(EXCEL, MATLAB, Simulink, UniPlot, etc.)
5
years working experience in the automotive
industry
Excellent leadership, communication and
project management skills
Exceptional customer communication and
presentation skills
Plan, organize and prioritize tasks with
minimal supervision
Good MS Office applications skills
Occasional travel within the US and abroad
Valid US Drivers license
