Position Description
This position is responsible for providing in-plant support for the EHS department to ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, local, regional, and corporate rules, policies, procedures, and regulations. The incumbent will provide support to terminal personnel concerning impacts of regulations as they apply to daily operations.
-Assist the EHS Regional Manager with development and implementation of all site, corporate, and regulatory EHS requirements.
-Provide EHS support to other KM Terminals in surrounding geographic areas.
-Supervise and direct field compliance with applicable regulations and company policies - including contractors, visitors, and KM employees.
-Implement and support SQE (Safety, Quality, and Environmental) initiatives and directives.
-Duties include: contractor safety; training; first aid; making decisions regarding applicable medical treatment strategies and initiating workers compensation documentation.
-Incident investigation; emergency response.
-Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies, procedures, rules and standard operating procedure.
-Complete all required inspections and entering work orders for correction as required.
-Record-keeping.
-Conduct safety compliance field audits to evaluate and determine area of non-compliance and providing analytical support to resolve such issues and recommend areas of improvement.
-Provide support for the industrial hygiene monitoring program.
-Instrument calibration; facility security; administering the medical surveillance program; Champion the VPP program.
-Conducting monthly Safety Team meetings.
-Manage safety budgets for the terminal.
-All other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements
Education:
-Associates or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field.
-Industrial Hygiene/Safety Management certifications & training a plus.
Experience/specific knowledge:
-One to four years' experience in a terminal or petrochemical environment with working knowledge of: job-site/ construction safety, incident investigations, OSHA regulations, fire safety, and air monitoring instrumentation.
-Experience in Emergency Response, Haz-Mat, Fire or Rescue required.
-Must be able to work with a team, take direction from supervisors, keep required work schedules, focus attention on details, and follow work rules.
-Proficient command of regulations and ability to interact with customers, regulatory agencies, and peers.
-Must have experience in training and instructing employees.
Certifications, licenses, registrations:
-Must have a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record in accordance with KM's insurance requirements.
-EMT Basic Certification, First Aid, and CPR certification, Extensive knowledge of emergency response; IH monitoring; MTSA requirements; radiation safety; OSHA VPP; PC literacy and software navigation skills in a window-based environment.
- Ability to attain TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) as issued by TSA (Transportation Security Administration).

- Must be able to function as a leader on Emergency Response Teams.
Physical demands:
-Must be able to perform the physical requirements including but not limited to walking up and down stairs/ladders, negotiating uneven surfaces and carry up to 50 lbs.
-Ability to work over water.
-Ability to travel between other facilities. Some overnight travel required.
Working conditions:
-Must be willing and able to work in an office and field environment.
-Ability to work in a fast pace environment and multi-task.
-Must be able to withstand extreme weather conditions as this position will require some outside work activities.
-Must be willing to work flexible shifts.
-Must be willing and able to carry a company provided cell phone and respond as needed 24/7.
Other
Responsibilities:
-Professional safety certifications are preferred, but not required.
-Experience in terminal operations or heavy industrial operations preferred.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
