Job Details:
Bachelors Degree required. The Buyer is responsible for placing orders, expediting backorder and processing paperwork for stock and nonstick hospital supplies. This includes processing requisitions, researching products, clarifying special orders, producing purchase orders, following up on back orders, selecting vendors, maintaining updated product information files, and utilizing a computer terminal to place orders. Actively participates in continuous quality improvement and innovative change processes. Participates in Financial Services meetings and department specific educational opportunities. Significant experience working with vendors and other supply chain customers, contract negotiation experience, fluent communication skills, highly proficient computer skills.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
