Job Description:
Role : Dotnet Support Engineer.
Location : Woodcliff Lake NJ
Duration : Long Term
Interview process: Phone / Skype followed by in-person
Level III Support - should have mid-level development experience in SQL Server, .Net
Should have a very analytical bent of mind and able to analyze the system and to suggest workarounds.
Should have some experience with SSIS, SSRS, able to work with cubes.
Any experience and exposure to SSAS would be a definite plus.
General Experience and Skills:
8 - 10 years experience in production support roles within a financial institution
Ability to work independently to meet tight deadlines.
Able to work a flexible schedule to include evenings and weekends as required.
Hands-on experience in supporting client applications and close interaction with the business users and teams.
Knowledge of financial systems such as Profit and Loss accounts, GL, AR, AP a plus.
Experience supporting a production environment with in-house solutions based on.NET and IIS using object oriented databases.
Knowledge of UNIX and Windows operating systems is required.
Experience with SQL scripting in SQL Server and other DBMS tools required.
Working knowledge of Autosys or other job scheduling tools required.
Proven knowledge of the ITIL production support process.
Experience with production release management processes and procedures.
