Department/ Area: Non-Destructive Testing.
Position
Summary: Level II Magnetic Particle and Fluorescent Penetrant. IAW Familiarity with the requirements of NAS 410 & SNT-TC-1A.
Purpose: Ensure jobs are processed according to specifications. The candidate will be responsible for correctly documenting test results.
Essential Functions: The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing assigned jobs. Fastener experience is a plus.
Minimum Qualifications and Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Level II Magnetic Particle and Fluorescent Penetrant certification. Minimum of four years experience as NDT Inspector Level II in FPI and MPI techniques. ASNT certifications in FPI, MPI a plus. Basic English reading and math skills. Ability to work independently. Bi-lingual preferred. Candidates should be able to provide documented evidence of NDT certification and work hour experience.
Reporting Relationships: Reports to department supervisor and/or Quality Director.
Working Conditions: Frequent standing and sitting. Lifting up to 25lbs and moving 40lbs pans with dollies.
Success Factors: The candidate should have a good attitude and be willing to learn. Good communication skills.
