We are seeking a strong Systems Administrator to and provide secure, available, scalable and operationally excellent infrastructure services, utilizing cutting edge processes and cloud based systems. The ideal candidate must be able to execute on scripting and automation tasks, as well as support internal IT customers.

Position
Responsibilities:
Build, monitor and manage critical infrastructure primarily on the Windows and Linux platforms, with some client support requirements in the Windows arena (DHCP, etc)
Design and implement our automated deployment system to support host deployment, configuration and updates
Design and develop solutions for sustainably monitoring and alarming essential services, currently utilizing splunk and cloudwatch
Work in coordination with architects and tech leads to develop strategic solutions to complex problems
Basic
Qualifications:
Minimum 4 years of Linux/Unix System Administration experience
B.A./B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience
Programming experience in a scripting language (Shell required, Python and/or Perl a plus)
Networked services implementation and troubleshooting (DNS, DHCP, NTP, LDAP, SAMBA)
Deep Linux knowledge on Red Hat and Ubuntu platforms
Basic understanding of Windows client and server environments, and their interaction with Linux servers (via Samba, LDAP, etc.)
Preferred
Qualifications:
Experience with Cisco ASA firewalls, Dell switches, VLAN topologies
Experience with monitoring tools, especially AWS cloud based tools
Experience in writing automation scripts and self-service tools
Experience with automated administration engines (Chef, Puppet, SaltStack, etc)Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
