Cinder Solutions is looking for a solid candidate to fill the role of an Automation Engineer for one of our direct clients in Chandler, AZ. This is a full time, 40 and hour a week position. Job Description:
Our client is looking for qualified Design Automation (DA) candidates for layout productivity improving automation and environment development, with program management experience to assist in managing EDA deliverables from Cadence, Synopsys, Ansys and Mentor Graphics.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate EDA deliverables within FDK groups
- Ensure clearly communicated written requirements
- Track execution results of EDA Suppliers by attending/coordinating weekly status updates
- Report status to EDA CM and escalate execution/risk assessments when necessary
- Provide guidance in areas to shift FDK activities to EDA suppliers
Education Level:
A Bachelor's degree, preferably Master's, in Computer Science or Electrical/Computer Engineering
Required skills:
- A minimum of 8 years of EDA technical or program account management
- Broad understanding of EDA products and services
- EDA technical experience in either custom (transistor) or ASIC (SOC) design tools
- Thriving on challenges, self-driven
- Manage multiple complex and technical deliverables from multiple EDA suppliers
- A can-do attitude.
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Thriving on challenges, fast switch context switching, self-driven.
