Responsibilities:
Monitor, review and release production orders to allow on time build and delivery of assigned products.
Perform regular material coverage analysis to identify, prevent and resolve any material shortages.
Utilize the site ERP/MRP system and various data extracts to provide schedule visibility and priority for production, test and support areas.
Monitor build progress to ensure that execution is occurring as planned. Drive actions to address and resolve aging orders. Execute schedule messages to insure MPS integrity.
Act as the focal point for reporting status and driving resolution of issues impacting schedule execution.
Lead and/or coordinate the weekly cell SIOP process to insure proper planning, alignment and resource availability to allow MPS execution.
Lead efforts to understand root cause and corrective actions for process failures relating to planning, scheduling and execution.
Address schedule impacts, develop and monitor recovery plans.
Drive Continuous Improvement. Develop, document and implement process procedures and process improvements.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in business, supply chain, technical or related discipline; in lieu of degree, will consider candidates with High School Diploma and minimum of 3 years experience in a complex manufacturing environment in one or more of the following areas: Production Scheduler/Planner, Production Coordinator, Material Coordinator or Material/Inventory Analyst.
Due to export restrictions this position requires United States Citizenship or United States Lawful Permanent Resident status
Additional Qualifications
Strong knowledge of SAP or similar ERP/MRP systems and their use in a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
