Clever Boy Pet Care is looking for reliable pet sitters interested in
independent contracting
work in the Bethlehem/Allentown area. Care for pets in client's homes when they are away or get a regular gig as a dog walker! An ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:
1. great, friendly personality both on phone and in person
2. comfort with all sizes and breeds of dogs and cats
3. will respect and protect the pets and property of the client
4. responsible, dependable, and able to handle problems efficiently and independently
Requirements:
1. a reliable car (and driver's license)
2. unlimited texting
3. email account
4. must pass background check
5. business and professional references
6. availability early am, midday, nights, and most holidays (payment is 1.5 on major holidays)
Clever Boy Pet Care offers 30 minute exercise walks to dogs, house/pet sitting for clients on vacation, and traditional visits that include feeding, medication, and let-outs/walks. The average price to clients per visit is $18; the independent contractor receives 70% of the total bill. As an independent contractor, you are under no obligation to take jobs that are offered to you. It is important to understand that work flow is constantly changing. Some months will be very slow; at other times you may become totally booked with visits.
Interested candidates must send a letter of interest along with a business resume and five references.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
