Responsibilities
RESPONSIBILITIES
Architect solutions for business requirements involving advanced networks (performance & management), VoIP and converged technologies.
IT system/architecture requirements (including development of fault and performance management policies and automation rules)
Based on certification scope, will be responsible for:
Configuration definition of hardware and software. Lab device/design identification and configuration
Development of fault and performance management policies
Test case and procedure documentation. User acceptance test case development and testing, product documentation and training for Operational Readiness of the Operations teams.
Testing
Working with Verizon teams and vendors to drive issue resolution
Operational/day 2 support documentation
Support standard and custom product development initiatives and network management device and application certifications for Managed Services solutions and customers.
Create and support delivery documentation
Provide technical and training for the Managed Services Operations teams.
Interface and interact with customers on a semi-regular basis.
Work closely with Product Development, Engineering/Planning, IT, various Verizon delivery and support teams and third party vendors.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
BS or BA in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent work experience
5
years in experience in a solution-oriented technical design and engineering role, with an emphasis on advanced networks, VoIP and convergence solutions.
Data and IP Services (MPLS, VoIP, VPN, IP PBX)
Managed Network Services (LAN, WAN, WLAN, Managed IP PBX)
Unified Communications (Messaging, Video, Telepresence)
Architecture experience to include solution conceptualization, definition and development with a focus on revenue generation and assurance.
Ability to create and review technical documentation (RFIs, RFPs, SOWs, SLAs, BOMsEUR )
Strong knowledge of overall network technology experience with fundamental understanding of WAN, LAN, Wireless and Optimization services
Requires knowledge of network management technologies, devices, and applications across multiple vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, Riverbed and/or Aruba
Working knowledge of network and performance management platform tools such as:
EMC Smarts
CA eHealth
NetIQ
SCOM
Strong documentation skills using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Project and Visio
Current and valid industry certifications in one or more of the following:
Cisco
Juniper
SIP
Avaya, Microsoft, Tandberg, Polycom
TOGAF
ITIL
Ability to present both technical and non-technical information to broad audiences
Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively work in a team environment and explain complex technical concepts to varying levels of technical audiences.
Effective written communication skills.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
