The Quality Engineer will be responsible for leading quality engineering activities for design, development, and manufacturing of company products to ensure a high level of process and product quality.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Implementing and consistently utilizing rigorous quality tools for effective new product safe launches including but not limited to FMEA/CP/SPC/PPAP/GP12.
Implementation of SPC tools into every day production.
Generation of Quality procedures and specifications.
Working with internal and external customers to insure that requirements are effectively communicated and met.
Quality tooling and gage design.
Facilitating Quality and Process Audits.
Performing failure analysis on Internal and External Quality returns.
Participating in problem-solving efforts aimed at eliminating our most chronic quality problems.
Completes all aspects of project assignments accurately and on time including development of designs, performance or testing criteria, quality levels, verification methods and other aspects as required.
Implementing effective process and product controls to ensure first time product quality.
Daily issue resolution for in-process quality issues for assigned value streams.
Evaluate and monitor component parts and raw materials by adhering to exceptional quality standards for assigned value streams.
Issue resolution for customer complaints/RMA for assigned value streams.
Performing full investigation and analysis into internal and external failures, and completing/ assigning corrective actions as necessary.
Reducing the Cost of Quality. (RMA, RTV, Scrap, Rework, Repair, and Warranty) A key consideration is to prevent the inadvertent use of any suspect or Nonconforming material or product and to implement effective actions to prevent the recurrence of such events.
Interacting with production floor personnel to communicate internal and external failures and counter measures.

Ensuring on-time, effective new product launches with zero external failures.
Ensuring product performance testing meets or exceeds customer expectation.
Review and approve New Product specifications, Bill Of Materials, Packaging Assembly Specs, Non Conformance Reports and Deviations.
Demonstrates Pentair's Win Right culture when interacting with customers, co-workers and suppliers.
Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements & Skills
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Quality, Engineering, Technology or relevant discipline required.
5
years of related experience in manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of plastics manufacturing preferred.
Strong Lean background preferred .
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, Project).
Minitab.
Blue print reading and interpretation.
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills required to determine warranty and product disposition.
Position requires knowledge and use of common measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, ring gages, height gages, etc.
Strong team player.
Ability to lead/coordinate a cross functional group of people to achieve specific quality objectives.
Background in quality and familiar with 8Ds, FMEA, control plans, ISO, Lean, Six Sigma, PPAP and Advanced Quality Planning.
Ability to facilitate and manage through continual change.
Dynamic self-starter with ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.
Willingness to learn and ability to develop others.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
