Job Description
BLUE SKY/TASK ORDER/IDIQ/FULL TIME: Various locations in Afghanistan. Duties will require effective and diplomatic interaction with US, NATO, and Afghan Air Force officials and their respective staffs. Responsible to senior management to establish, direct, and manage Foreign Military Sales flight training program at foreign deployed location. Primary CONUS reach-back support, coordinating site activities with all PMO support functions. Overall project management will include supervision responsibilities of deployed management staff and quality assurance in support of all aspects of primary military-style flight training. Will analyze current operating problems and future operating requirements to identify training needs and develop training programs. Working with the Aviation Program Manager(s), produces products and processes which support overall program and training objectives to include applicable portions of USAF instructions on operations, safety, standardization, and student management. Provides oversight to all program areas, helping to determine training needs and develop and conduct flight training programs while maintaining proper program budget and schedule. Establishes and directs the process and maintenance of a customer provided and program-wide training and qualification record system. Maintains currency in technical developments, technical training, quality assurance, and project management policies and regulatory compliance. Serve as contractor's Program Manager authorized to interface with the Government Contracting Officer (CO), Government Contracting Officer's Representative, Government Program Manager and customer agency representatives. Responsible for the overall management of specific program(s) and ensuring that the technical solutions and schedules in the program are implemented in a timely manner. Provide project leadership to, and management of, assigned programs or major phases of significant projects or programs by coordinating the efforts of assigned staff. Plans, coordinates, schedules, directs, and controls all engineering and technical support activities applicable to task execution. Reviews and evaluates all work performed. Ensures compliance with all management plans, policies and procedures. Responsible for overall task order or project performance within budgetary and schedule guidelines. Identify and recommend objectives and scope of projects and communicates goals, scope, approach and schedules to assigned personnel. Provides recommendations for resolution of technical problems.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering management, mathematics, science, business, or logistics from a college or university accredited by an accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. At a minimum should have additional course work or participation in applicable seminars/symposia and six (6) years of relevant work experience in systems development and engineering in communications, command and control, aviation electronics, data and information processing or modeling and simulation. Should have background in a Department of Defense development and/or acquisition environment. Experience should demonstrate the ability to meet the duties described above. SECRET security clearance is required.
Equivalent experience/education combinations are permitted based on the Typical Minimums required for this job which are 15 years of related experience and a BS degree in a related discipline.
Desired skills
An advanced degree is preferred. US DoD flight training and command experience highly desired. Must be knowledgeable and conversant in military flight operations, safety, standardization, and supervision instructions, student management, and maintenance. Previous Rotor Wing experience highly desirable. Additionally, must possess a full understanding of military flight training operations. Military deployment experience is highly desired and deployment experience to the CENTCOM region is desired. Current or previous FAA Commercial Airman's Certificate with multi-engine and instrument ratings, ability to pass Class II physical examination, FAA examinations, and flight proficiency tests and services or FAR Part 61/91 Directives. Mi-8/17 and/or PC-12 experience. Military command experience at senior levels is desired.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
