Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for a Process Integration Director, located in Piscataway, NJ.
The Supply Chain and Global Finance organizations at Johnson & Johnson are undergoing significant change, to enable growth and value for Johnson & Johnson through a Global Integrated Supply Chain organization that optimizes services, reduces costs and enables quality and compliance, as well as the roll-out of the Global Finance shared service organization that drives significant efficiencies and improved controls. An important element in delivering the Global Supply Chain enterprise strategy is the establishment of the Back to Basics (BtB) Program.
The overall purpose for the creation of the BtB team is to translate corporate strategy into a clear picture of J&J;'s Enterprise Supply Chain and Global Finance business models by defining key strategic capabilities, standard processes, quality and compliance standards & supporting infrastructure. BtB is a process-based business transformation Program to deliver the Supply Chain strategic enterprise capabilities and enable Supply Chain and Finance efficiencies.
Specific objectives of the BtB organization are to build an end-to-end (90%+) common Enterprise Process Template for 'core' processes and data standards and enable 'build once/deploy many times' for Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) deployment, Re-direct upcoming ERP implementations to deploy the global template, Move to a single Global SAP footprint for Supply Chain, Finance, Procurement & OTC by 2020, and Build and maintain a BtB organization capability to support strategic planning and sustained execution.
The build and migration to the Global Template is projected to be completed over an 8 year timeframe with the full migration to the Global Template completed by 2020.
The BtB team is recruiting for a Process Integration Leader. Based in the US, this position will report into the Senior Director of BtB Global Process Integration/Master Data. The primary goals and objective include taking on independent responsibility to ensure the end to end Supply Chain, Deliver and Finance solution fits together, ensure the solution standardization, resolve cross team design issues and taking on independent charge to design and execute business simulation test for deployments, starting with LATAM.
This role will require significant interface with Finance, IT Program, IT Quality & Compliance and Commercial leadership across the J&J; businesses. This will require working in concert with global, regional and local resources as well as the Finance and the IT project leadership in driving the successful development and deployment of the BtB Global Template.
Scope of Role:
Geographic Breadth: Global
Business Breadth: All Enterprise franchises & regions, SAP core technology, plus middleware and related technology within process area (MES, PLM, WMS, etc.).
Level of Influence - Peers and senior leaders consisting of Deployment leaders and directors (D1/D2), Value Stream Leaders and Vice Presidents.
Number of employees managed in team - 2-7 direct HCT. Extended teams including site/region resources and contractors typically sized 20+.
Sub Functions - all process areas manage multiple sub-functions (e.g., inventory mgt) or interact with major related functions/systems (LYNX, APOLLO, PLM, WMS).
Overall responsibilities include support global Phase 0 assessments (analysis of process and data scope for 3-4 evaluations per year). Ensure application of global standards and reusability of BtB Global Template content for all deployments. Ensure the end to end Supply Chain, Deliver and Finance solution fits together, ensure solution standardization and resolve cross team design issues. Responsible for ensuring integrity and robustness of end to end process and IT solution at the deployment level, including adjacent processes/Legacy IT systems. Single point of ownership for cross thread / cross process integration issues within a deployment. Responsible for linking design of each deployment back to enterprise process and data standards. Drive end to end Business Simulation and Integration tests; own and manage business acceptance and sign-off on scope and completeness of simulation testing. Ensure quality delivery of all process team deliverables on time and within budget. Own cross project thread implementation of all project lifecycle activities within area of responsibility. Manage process team business staff (talent development). Act as final decision maker for respective area of responsibility.
Qualifications
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required. MBA or advanced degree is highly desirable. A minimum of 10 years of diverse and progressive senior leadership experience is required. Demonstrated change leader with an understanding of the cultural and change management requirements and impact inherent in a large, complex organizational change initiative. Significant experience driving large, complex, global projects and programs to successful completion is required. Hands-on SAP Project delivery experience; in-depth knowledge of SAP functionality; data and business configuration is required. Strategic breadth of design and business knowledge required from multiple lenses: business, program delivery, IT, compliance and governance. Understanding of Supply Chain technologies and end-to-end business/IT architecture, SAP, middleware, etc. is required. Certifications in process area (e.g., CPIM, CSCP, C.P.M, CMA) are highly desirable. Health Sciences experience is strongly preferred.
Strong communication and presentation skills are required. Multilingual highly desirable, Spanish, and Portuguese preferred.
This position will be based in Piscataway, NJ and will require 30% travel (domestically and internationally). Travel may be required up to 60% for shorter periods, and if based outside an immediate deployment area, travel may be required up to 75% for periods.
