Job Description:
The primary responsibility of theBartender-Paiza is to provide unmatched customer service through the prompt and accurate delivery of beverage service to all guests and beverage servers. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and The Sands Bethlehem policies, practices, and procedures.
Efficiently takes beverage and food orders, preparing alcoholic & non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with department specifications, comprehensive knowledge of all beverage functions including mixing of drinks and operation of all bar equipment.
Provides unmatched service to guests at all times. Proactively seeks guest service opportunities.
Interacts with internal and external guests taking drink orders and delivers high quality drink orders to the guests in a timely manner.
Handles cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently associated with beverage sales and provide appropriate change to the guest based on beverage sales.
Is responsible for ensuring that the beverage preparation areas comply with Pennsylvania Health Codes.
Responsible for having a comprehensive understanding of and maintaining compliance with Pennsylvania liquor laws.
Provides accurate directions and information for guest inquires and is knowledgeable about all aspects of Sands Bethlehem services, features, attractions, promotions and special events.
Completes all paperwork in accordance with Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board and approved Sands Casino Resort Bethlehem standards.
Provides superior customer service to all internal and external customers in compliance with the Sands' Standards of Steel customer service standards.
Adheres to and complies with both departmental and overall property policies and procedures.
Performs additional duties as directed by management.
Job Requirements:
MINIMUM EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:18 years of age, proof of authorization/eligibility to work in the United States, High School Diploma or equivalent, ability to communicate effectively in a positive/upbeat fashion utilizing English; both in oral and written form, interpersonal skills with focused attention to guest needs to deal effectively with all business contacts, maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance adhering to Sands Bethlehem appearance standards, maintain consistent adherence to the Sands Bethlehem Standards of Steel, work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
SPECIFIC POSITION REQUIREMENTS:Minimum of three (3) years experience in beverage service of an upscale and/or high volume food and beverage service establishment as a bartender. Must be able to obtain a Responsible Alcohol Management Program (RAMP) card. Must possess a general understanding of specialty drinks, wine and fine spirits. Must be able to demonstrate superior guest service skills by presenting a friendly, relaxed and professional demeanor, ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail while meeting business demands. Must be able to complete cash transactions accurately and efficiently, basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division a must. Must possess the ability to access all areas of the facility, stand, stretch, bend, and kneel without restriction. Must maintain cleanliness of work area and equipment in accordance to Pennsylvania Health Code standards. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs. Must be able to work in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment and maintain physical stamina, and proper mental attitude while dealing effectively with guests, management, team members, in person and over the phone. Physical ability to access all areas of the property. Must be able to withstand prolonged standing, stretching, bending and kneeling without restriction, work indoors and be exposed to various environmental factors such as, but not limited to CRT fatigue, noise, dust, cigarette smoke. Must be able to work in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment and maintain physical stamina, proper mental attitude while dealing effectively with guests, management, team members, and outside contacts while working under pressure and meeting deadlines. Must be able to qualify for and obtain a Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board License.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
