DUTIES: Design, implement, test, and deploy algorithms for ultra-large scale data collection, transfer, copy, and delivery in both streaming and batch modes according to requirements specifications. Investigate, design, implement, test, and deploy infrastructural changes for improved performance and data throughput. Support and enhance high performance, multi-processing, multi-threaded software that executes reliably in a 24 x 7 operating environment.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field, and 3 years of experience in the job offered, or other computer related occupation.
ALTERNATIVE REQUIREMENTS: PhD degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field
EXPERIENCE/COURSEWORK MUST INCLUDE:
Education or experience must include:
- Object oriented programming
- Unix/Linux systems
- Analyzing systems for performance characteristics
- Debugging
- Reverse engineering software
- Algorithm analysis
Any suitable combination of education, experience, or training is acceptable.
WORKSITE: Champaign, IL
SALARY: $102,000 to $122,000 per year
THIS IS A FULL-TIME (40 HOURS PER WEEK) PROFESSIONAL POSITION.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
