The IT Monitoring team is looking for someone with hands on experience using ExtraHop to build monitoring for network and applications Primary duties will include:
Working with Application owners to identify areas where these tools can provide value, coming up with an actionable plan for implementing these tools.
Configuring and testing ExtraHop instrumentation
Addressing system maintenance needs
Minimum Required Skills / Competencies:
Protocol-level understanding of how various software components involved in an application stack interact: web servers, application servers & gateways, databases, web services, mainframes, network attached storage, DB/App client, GTM Load balancing. Solid understanding of TCP/IP networking Understanding of enterprise-architecture concepts: 3-tier architecture, high availability/disaster recovery Solid understanding of the OSI model and excellent working knowledge of the key protocols from Layer 2 through Layer 7 including ARP, IP, TCP, UDP, and HTTP Solid system administration experience in Windows and Linux Fluency in automation and scripting on Windows and Linux Strong problem-solving Ability to handle technical issues of any degree of complexity with minimal need for supervision or assistance ExtraHop administration ExtaHop monitoring development Preferred skills:
SPLUNK administrationEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
