SUMMARY
Monitor, troubleshoot, and administer Syteline ERP system software, hardware and related software interfaces. Manage projects related to upgrades, additional programs and product enhancements.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES include the following:
Posses a conscientious, methodical, and detailed approach to problem solving.
Maintain within levels of stress, deadlines, and occasional extended schedules.
Report accomplishments and update progress on projects on a regular basis.
Demonstrate good electronic documentation skills related to job specific activities.
Manage deadlines and shifting priorities.
Demonstrate excellent people skills when dealing with users of the Syteline system - from shop floor personnel through management levels.
Work with outside consultants on network design, troubleshooting, and administering the company's servers.
Perform Syteline system maintenance, daily routines, and backups.
Design, test, and maintain all SQL databases and related procedures residing on the SQL Servers.
Manage security and users on the SQL Servers.
Assist with research that is computer related to help identify where technology is headed.
Assist with any computer related problems within the company.
Assist with designing, testing and training of custom programs, procedures, form changes and reports that will provide the user base with accurate data. Follow up on changes to ensure the end user understands and is satisfied with changes and provide any necessary documentation related to those changes.
Research & suggest alternate methods for reporting data to the company user base that could result in cost savings or reduced overhead.
Assist with Syteline software/hardware deployment/integration plans.
Create/maintain budget for maintenance and necessary purchases of hardware and software.
Assistance of company website and internet activities.
Process and prioritize program modification requests.
Maintain an information systems disaster recovery plan.
Maintain compliance on all software/hardware licenses.
Review all computer software/hardware purchases for hardware/software conflicts.
Make recommendations on peripheral hardware purchases.
Maintain/enhance data backup plan for all software.
Interact with hardware/software consultants, technicians, programmers, etc.
Analysis and recommendation of hardware/software platforms to improve the usage and efficiency of the Syteline system.
Analysis, testing, and deployment of Syteline improvements and upgrades.
Work with users and outside consultants on creating new reports, functionality, enhancements, and improvements of the Syteline system.
Create reports and databases to enhance the Syteline system.
Analyze and recommend computer software/hardware purchases.
Assist with training users of the Syteline system.
Prepare work instruction documentation for routine tasks as directed.
Project lead on projects that involve integration, migration, and changes in work flow processes as assigned by the supervisor.
Work in a safe and professional manner, keep a clean work area, and wear proper protective equipment.
Cooperation with supervisor and co-workers, willing to work as a team.
Show by example: temperament, professionalism, and teamwork.
Timely arrival and regular attendance at work.
Willing to work overtime.
Willing to work any shift.
Other duties may be assigned.
Availability to login to network and fix issues during work hours.

QUALIFICATIONS

TECHNICAL SKILLS
SQL, Crystal Reports Writing, SSRS, Syteline 8.0, Microsoft Office
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Post Secondary Education with emphasis in a computer related field.
Microsoft Windows 7 Experience.
Syteline software experience.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
