Dawood Engineering is looking for a Senior Pipeline Engineer (Req N104) to join our Bridgeport, WV, Caldwell, OH or Canonsburg, PA team.
Essential Duties:
o A qualified candidate will be able to design and develop of one or more parts of a single project under technical direction of a project manager, or lead discipline engineer.
o Will be responsible for construction scheduling, cost monitoring, management, and other general project control.
o Will performs calculations and prepares sketches for specific segments of a project.
o Will gathers information and prepares technical specifications for the parts of the project they are working on.
o Will be responsible to organize and track various project activities, i.e. material requisitions, vendor submittals, etc.
o Will assist in the preparation of man-hour and project cost estimates and schedules both internal and for the client.
o Will prepare technical reports and be responsible in correspondence for approvals.
oWill interface with the clients technical personnel on specific project design items or tasks.
o Will be responsible to monitor and review the work of less experienced engineers as directed by the Lead Discipline Engineer, Project Engineer or Manager.
o Will prepare bid documents for materials, engineered equipment, and construction within specific discipline.
o Will execute pipeline fluid flow rate and volume calculations, wall thickness calculations, and all relevant variables for cost effective pipe selection.
Requirements:
o Must have Bachelor's Degree in Engineering field.
o Must hold a license as a registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the state of WV, OH or PA.
o Must have at least 5 to 10 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry- i.e. engineering design, procurement, and construction.
o Must have expert working knowledge of regulatory codes (B31.4; B31.8) and other recommended practices for pipeline design.
o Must have experience in RFQ preparations, construction bid documents, and bid evaluations.
o Must understand the management processes needed to execute multiple projects and the requirements of projects controls to properly report progress and forecast remaining work.
o Must have an extensive background in gas or liquid pipeline projects, including knowledge in the design and construction of pipelines, compressor stations and metering stations.
o Must have working knowledge in DOT Class Location determinations for pipelines.
o Must have strong working knowledge of drawing requirements for station layouts, piping plans, PFD's and P&ID's
o Must be proficient with Microsoft Office tools including Microsoft Excel and Word.
o Candidate must be willing to work in a fast-paced environment.
o Candidate must exhibit a positive attitude, have excellent communication skills, and work well alone and with others in a team environment.
o Must be willing to travel to other regional locations and project sites, as needed.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
