Lumenance is searching for motivated Electrical or Mechanical Engineers with prior experience in the Robot Guided Machine Vision Equipment industry. We currently have US-based direct positions at our client in Plymouth, Michigan. Our client will help procure the necessary U.S. work visas for qualified candidates from Mexico or Canada.
Responsibilities include:
Install, integrate and provide support of robot guided machine vision equipment.
Requirements:
BS Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
Strong mathematical background
Knowledge of general robotics and machine vision concepts
Efficiency with PCs and Microsoft applications
Re-location to Detroit area
Willingness to travel
Additional Experience and Knowledge Desired:
Applied application experience with robotics and vision
Experience with linear algebra and coordinate system transformations
Working knowledge of industrial PLC logic and methods
Background with RS-232/422, DeviceNet, ProfiNet, and Ethernet communications
Familiarity with statistical process control analysis techniques (SPC)
Experience with CAD software (Preferably CATIA)
Intern or Co-op experience in automotive manufacturing facilities
