DUTIES AND
Responsibilities: Responsible for performing engineering assignments usually associated with new or modified parts or components. Position usually located at a plant/distribution facility.
REQUIREMENTS:
QUALIFICATIONS (List prior experience and academic requirements (both required and preferred):
4-year degree in a related field or technical field required; master's degree preferred
Background in Quality Management in a manufacturing environment (automotive preferred)
Greenbelt or Blackbelt preferred
Minimum of 3 years manufacturing experience required (automotive preferred)
Working knowledge and experience with PPAP
Demonstrated experience in directing APQP
Experience and demonstrated capability in manufacturing engineering machine design / specification - mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems
Ability to work with IT systems
Sound understanding of technical drawings & marking / tolerance standardsKnowledge of 7 tools, changeovers, SOP, 5S ,Audit, Lean Temple
