Software Engineer - eCommerce
We have an immediate contract opportunity with a large F500 client in the Sunnyvale, CA area.
Position Description
As a Software Engineer for our client's global eCommerce, you'll be responsible for large-scale, e-commerce Web applications development, tools development and maintenance. You'll interact with the business to provide robust technical solutions to business problems. This position will support our efforts with Platform as a Service (PaaS) team in the @Platform group.
Platform and Skill Set Expertise:
o Web Development : Apache Wicket or similar Java MVC framework, HTML, JavaScript, JQuery, Apache Tomcat
o QA Testing : Unit test case Development/ JUnit
o Software/Application Development : Java EE, EJB, SOAP/REST Web Services, WebLogic Application Server 12c, Oracle, Linux
o Database Development : Oracle
o Design Skills & Tools : Model-View-Controller, Object Oriented Design, Eclipse, UML, Visio
o Source Code Control : Subversion
o Write front-end MVC Java code.
o Write middle-tier Java code.
o Ensure that every coding path is unit tested and nearly bug free.
o Participate in full integration testing.
o Rapidly address issues and fix defects discovered during deployment.
Skills and
Experience:
o 4
years of system development experience using the following technologies:
o MVC frameworks such as Wicket, Struts, JSF
o Java EE Technologies including JSP/Servlets, EJB3, JMS, JDBC, JMX, JMS
o Web Services/SOA, XML, XSL, SOAP
o Java i18n
o 4
recent years of experience in data integration/architecture, enterprise information integration and/or ETL.
o Experience architecting and developing web-based systems, data processing systems, and enterprise integration systems
o Experience using different development methodologies including SDLC, Scrum, and/or Agile, and test-driven development
o Experience using development tools such as JUnit/Cactus, Eclipse, WSAD, RAD6, CVS/Subversion
o Proven track record in developing high quality applications
o Ability to mentor other developers and provide technical direction on application architecture.
o Excellent verbal and written communication skills
o Experience with gathering and documenting technical requirements and specifications.
o Proven experience working in complex technology environments
o Possesses wide base of experience in many disciplines of information technology including:
o Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)
o Optimum Web Application design for maximum performance
o Operating Systems - Mac and Linux
o Performance Management and Capacity Planning
o Application Program Interfaces (APIs), Messaging Software and Interoperability Techniques and Standards
o BS / BA degree in Computer Science or Information Systems

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
