Responsibilities would include:

Design Architect desktop management solutions (e.g. GPO/GPP's, Encryption technologies, SCCM, Privilege management solutions, KMS, MDT etc.)
Operating System software development & testing (Image management & testing)
OS and application troubleshooting (Level 4)
Dealing with vendors to test, evaluate and design new products and solutions
Work with internal departments for various activities

Engineer must have in-depth knowledge in the following technology areas:
o In-depth Windows OS knowledge
o OS Imaging and Deployment
o Microsoft Active Directory (including proficiency in GPO's/GPP's)
o Virtual Desktop Infrastructure & optimization
o Windows Scripting and Automation

Preferred candidates would also meet the following criteria:
Approach:
A logical and structured approach to troubleshooting and decision making
A strong facility for process design and implementation
Common sense approach to issues and areas of little knowledge; ability to synthesize multiple sources and types of data and draw conclusions
Ownership mentality
Knows What Good Looks like and doesn't hesitate to pursue it.
Leadership qualities.

Execution:
Ability to execute tasks independently or as part of a team.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail
Ability to step back and look at the holistic solutions.
Ability to create process and mechanize solutions

Technical:
Strong technical skills, depth in a particular IT space
Windows OS
Windows Deployment methodologies (MDT, Hardware Independent Imaging etc)
VDI Desktop Optimization
Windows OS performance tuning.
VMWARE ESX, View.
Scripting Experience is a must (VBScript, PowerShell etc.)
Development experience in a must (VB, VC, .net etc.)
Application Virtualization Experience (nice to have)

Education:
College degree preferred.
B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics is preferred.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
