Description
The Director of Business Development is responsible for building a department consisting of highly trained inside sales professionals operating in a call center environment. The department will be tasked with promoting the company's current and future products and services to both current and future customers. The Director of Business Development will also be heavily involved in developing of new initiatives, products and services for NextGear Capital.
Key Duties and Responsibilities of the Position
o Hire, train, develop and retain a team of highly trained inside sales representatives
o Develop structured process to develop new business leads for distribution to NextGear Capital's field based teams
o Develop structured process to increase the company's utilization through aggressive phone solicitation to exisiting NextGear Capital customers
o Develop structured process to increase NextGear Capital's active dealer count by targeting the company's inactive customers
o Support and promote the company's national promotions, special campaigns and event sales as needed
o Accountable for the company hitting monthly goals on New Applications, Utilization % and Active Dealer count
o Work with the company's Executive Team and Regional Director set on development of new initaitives and programs as needed

o Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must.

o Must be able to manage deadlines.
o Must have strong time management skills.
o Ability to manage problems with solutions-based approach.
o Must have a proven track record of success in managing a group of sales people.
o Must be comfortable in a results driven, fast paced work environment.
Education and Experience
o Four year college degree preferred but not mandatory
o Speaking course preferred but not mandatory
o Leadership course preferred but not mandatory

o 10-20% travel or more is a requirement (as needed)

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
