POSITION
Summary:
Support the TAD team and Confections division through the development of new products per product development project briefs, participation in and leading cost savings initiatives and process and product improvements.
Work in close collaborating within cross functional teams lead by the factory, head office or other Nestle organizations ( NBI, EMD, PTC.) and representing the technical function.

PRIMARY
Responsibilities:
Support the Divisions key objectives under Execution, Innovation and People: Execution:
Actively participate and lead improvement initiative aimed at increased product quality and consumer satisfaction, process efficiency and reduce production and product costs. Coordinate and assist in factory trials for products and processes changes. Provide on-line technical assistance to Nestl factories and Affiliates, Customer facilities and Contract Manufacturers to increase process and product performance. Organize and conduct shelf live studies as required on new products or products that may be influenced by any changes to formulation, process and packaging. (50% of the time)

Innovation:
Develop laboratory scale new product concept samples applying food science skills. Utilize existing pilot plant processes and procedures to produce product for market research and/or test market. Assist in the industrialization of new products and processes in various Nestle or co-man manufacturing locations, ability to travel is required. (25% of the time)

People:
Full participation in BBS initiatives, performance evaluation systems, mandatory compliance training related to the Nestle principles and locale regulations.
Collaboration with any cross functional team member in accordance with the leadership frame work competencies to ensure productive and efficient work environment. Adopt and utilize comment Nestle processes and systems ( SAP, NPDI, NEL.) and assemble necessary documentation ( PMD, PM,. ) as required to maintain efficient communication, NQMS compliance and a base for continues improvement. Utilization of computer and mathematical skills for project management and project documentation purpose (min. Word, Excel, basic statistics). (25% of the time)

Guidance and supervision will be provided from Manager TAD and technical project managers as assigned by project.

FINANCIAL/STRATEGIC IMPACT:
Position is contributing to the divisional financial goals in regards to new product sales and waste reduction (cost savings), as well as strategic goals such as consumer satisfaction and safety.

REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL:
College degree in food science or equivalent.

Experience:
Up to three years of product development or factory experience in the confections, or confections related fields, ideally chocolate confections.

SKILLS:
Advanced math skills and computer skills in Word and Excel. Hands on cooking and baking skills as it relates to use of kitchen appliances and tools as well as basic analytical instruments such as scales, thermometers, calipers/micrometers, refractometers. Good understanding of food safety principles (GMP).

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
